My son has a 10month old malamute who has a canine citizen ship but continues to mouth everyone. In no way is she being agressive just mouths all the time. How can he break her of this??

adunphy 		Congrats on getting his CGC, that is wonderful! I would teach him two behaviors, first a nice down for meeting people and second a hand touch.

Hold out your hand and if he sniffs it say "yes" and give a piece of food. If he mouths, say "uh oh" and do not reward him. Then have strangers practice this. Once he is doing well you can work on people petting him and if he mouths, just say uh oh and put him in a down. Usually dogs are just over stimulated and excited and getting them to calm down and focus before they are loved on helps a lot.
