Why is my 4 year old dog suddenly going to the bathroom on the floor ?

My dog has been trained to always go on a wee wee pad when she is left alone in the house. the past three weeks, she has been going on the floor next to the wee wee pad. She is not just missing it, but intentionally not using it. I have tried putting 2 pads down where she was having the accident and she will just go somewhere else on the floor.

Please help - I am losing it.

I would have your dog evaluated for a urinary tract infection. I would go back to working with her to teach her to go on the pads. Remember you can't punish the dog if you dont catch them in the act.
